Dr. Marietta is the founder and CEO of Desert Sunrise Anesthesia. Her early career was spent working for an anesthesia group in Tucson, where she gained valuable experience. Facing so many unknowns during the pandemic gave her the bravery to take a leap of faith in her professional career and start her own practice.
The journey of seeking balance and running her own practice and brand has led to tremendous personal growth and fulfillment. She loves running her own business and creating a home for other like-minded anesthesiologists who want more control over their schedule.

Jason Marietta helps physicians, practice administrators, and hospital executives navigate the complex healthcare industry.
He spent a decade working as an engineer with Anheuser-Busch and General Mills. During this time, he gained valuable experience in process improvement and problem solving. Seeking to broaden his skill set, he pursued an MBA from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management. Jason has a special place in his heart for physicians. Not only because he married a physician but also because his father and brother are both physicians. He remembers how challenging it was for his father to run his own practice. It was natural for him to combine his engineering background with his inherent empathy and protectiveness of physicians.
Jason is known for his calm communication style, analytical perspective, and focus on customer service. He provides support and mentorship to healthcare professionals, helping them achieve economic success, improve patient experience, and eliminate wasted resources.

MEET OUR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
RaeLee, Executive Assistant
RaeLee has lived in Tucson for 15 years and has over a decade of experience in healthcare. She has spent ten years specializing in medical billing and coding, earning her CPC and CIC certifications through the American Academy of Professional Coders. Her career began as a biller and coder for an anesthesia practice, where she worked closely with several anesthesiologists from DSA. Her keen eye for detail and high level of professionalism contribute to the smooth operation of DSA.
As a working mom, RaeLee understands the importance of balance in life. She values the flexibility in her work schedule, which allows her to thrive professionally while also prioritizing quality time with her family. This balance is something she has found with DSA, and she is proud to be part of a team that shares her values.
